Liz Moline presided over and called the meeting to order at 7:00PM. Present at meeting were Fred Dietze, Mark Meirotto, Sarah Wang, Brian Wert, Liz Moline, Jason Bast and Chuck Wastell.
Dietze made a motion to approve the January 18th minutes, Meirotto seconded, motion carried.
Jeff Osbeck, representing Venture Fireworks, presented a site plan for a pylon sign at 631 Commerce Drive. This is a special exception in the Commercial/Light Industrial Zone. They will be moving the current sign location to meet the 500 foot distance from the residential district. The sign will be 80 feet high. The sign will be 10 feet high and 15 feet wide. Dietze made a motion to recommend to the Town Board to approve the site plan and height for the proposed sign, Wastell seconded. Motion carried. Wang recused herself from voting.
James Kuehl of 729 Exchange Drive is requesting a Special Use/Special Exception to operate a U-Haul business. He would like to have the trucks out in front of the building. This is in the Commercial/Light Industrial district. The Commission held a lengthy discussion about outside storage. The Commission believes he is allowed to store and display trucks and trailers for rent outside. Bast made a motion to recommend to the Town Board to approve the special exception as presented, Wang seconded. Motion carried.
Wastell made a motion to adjourn, Meirotto seconded. Motion carried.
